Over the last 20 years, Serra Gardens Landscape Succulents has earned its reputation as the insider's resource for exotic succulents. Now located on a private estate in scenic Fallbrook, California, Serra Gardens remains one of the most unique nurseries in Southern California.

Today, landscape architects and contractors can choose from over 500 varieties of plant material, all of which is field-grown and well-adapted to California coastal conditions, unlike many greenhouse-grown plants that may burn in the sun.
Displayed on picturesque growing grounds, our exotic plants are both drought-tolerant and fire-resistant. Utterly unique in shape, color, and form, succulents provide great inspiration to landscapers while requiring almost no irrigation after the first year.

Our renown collection began in 1970 as a hobby shared by the late Dr. Victor Newcomer, and his son, current owner Don Newcomer. It quickly developed into a showcase garden with excess plant material for sale. In 2007, we moved all our best plant material from our former location in Malibu to North County San Diego, the nation’s hot bed of horticulture.
